Women's Health & PCOS

Initial consultation (30 min) — £110 · Follow-up (20 min) — £110

For hormonal and gynaecological concerns that don't always fit neatly elsewhere

PCOS, heavy or irregular periods, PMS and PMDD, and a dedicated pre-menopause check-in for women noticing early changes.

What I cover

PCOS

Assessment of symptoms such as irregular cycles, acne or hair changes, guidance on diagnosis, and a long-term plan covering metabolic and fertility-related health — including acne, hirsutism and menstrual irregularity (oligomenorrhoea or amenorrhoea).

Heavy or Irregular Periods

A thorough history and examination of possible causes, appropriate investigations, and discussion of medical or hormonal treatment options.

PMS & PMDD

Support in recognising the difference between PMS and the more severe PMDD, and a plan that may include lifestyle measures, hormonal or non-hormonal treatment.

Pre-Menopause Check-In

For women in their late 30s or 40s noticing early changes — a chance to talk it through, rule out other causes, and understand what's coming next.

How it works

Frequently asked questions

How is this different from the menopause clinic? The menopause clinic focuses on perimenopause, menopause and HRT. This clinic covers everything else in hormonal and gynaecological health — PCOS, period problems, PMS/PMDD, and a check-in for women wondering if what they're noticing is the start of perimenopause.

Can you diagnose PCOS? I can take a detailed history, arrange relevant blood tests and a pelvic ultrasound where indicated, and talk you through the diagnostic criteria. A formal diagnosis sometimes needs input from a gynaecologist, and I can refer on if so.

Will you prescribe hormonal treatment? Where clinically appropriate, yes — including the combined pill, progestogen-only options, or other treatments for heavy periods or PMS, in line with national guidance.

Not sure if I need this or the menopause clinic? Book whichever sounds closest — if I think the other clinic is a better fit, I'll say so and point you there.

I am not an emergency service. If you have very heavy bleeding, severe pain, or feel very unwell, call 111, or 999 in an emergency.
